1) Every Sunday evening a new crochet prompt will be posted and will consist of the following:
- writing about a crochet topic – question and answer, poetry, short stories
- designing a crochet pattern
- both of the above
- anything else crochet-related that might be fun and interesting
2) At least one “challenge” will be posted on the first day of each month, giving a month to complete. This will also involve crochet, but it will be more in depth than the prompts will be. If it’s not a very time-consuming one, another may be posted on the 15th.
3) Prompts and challenges won’t usually have a reply-by date; do what you can when you can. However, the whole idea of this is NOT to take on more than you can do or to increase your WIPs. Instead, everything suggested will be for the purpose of creating something new in the name of crochet.
4) Once you have your response for any given prompt/challenge, copy the “question” to your blog and add your answer, then come back here and post a comment with the link to your reply. That way, everyone will know where to find you.
5) If you don’t have a blog, why not start one? Most are free and are easy to set up. Once started, you can put anything on it you want, not just the responses you write to this site. Or, if you really don’t want one, you can just post your response here as a comment.
6) If you have any suggestions for a prompt and/or challenge, use the Contribute tab. Be sure to include your name and email address so I can respond back to you. The form doesn’t ask for it. (That may change soon.)
