Hooks, yarn needles, and stitch markers are all common tools of the trade, but are there any other things you use with your crochet that might not be so common?

I’m quick on the draw for this one!

Eeek…not really ! I’m kind a simple in what I do
EEEK…now in spinning I use some weird stuff but in crochet it’s pretty much me and a hook.
• I use a old metal pencil box to hold all my hooks.
• I also have square clear plastic thin mint containers and empty coffee cans to store balls of yarn.
• Paper clips and hoop earrings can be good stitch markers.
• Folded plastic straws work good to wind yarn balls around (if you roll yours by hand.)
